Below are our detailed submission guidelines to help ensure that your work aligns with our publishing goals and helps us better evaluate your manuscript.
General Submission Guidelines
Manuscript Types We Accept
Fiction: Novels, novellas, and short stories that explore compelling characters, unique worlds, and thought-provoking themes.
Memoirs & Autobiographies: Personal stories of overcoming adversity, transformation, empowerment, and change.
Poetry: Collections that explore themes of identity, love, empowerment, and the human condition, with a strong voice and emotional resonance.
Nonfiction: Essays, social commentary, and explorations of gender, race, culture, politics, and other timely or timeless subjects that contribute to a larger societal conversation.
Submission Format
Manuscript:
Typed and double-spaced in 12-point Times New Roman or similar font.
1-inch margins on all sides.
Page numbers in the header.
Use standard manuscript formatting (e.g., no hard returns between paragraphs).
Query Letter:
A brief (1-page) cover letter introducing yourself and your work.
Include the title of your manuscript, a brief synopsis (2-3 sentences), and a short author bio. We appreciate knowing what makes your work unique and relevant to today’s literary landscape.
Sample Pages:
Fiction: Submit the first 3 chapters (or 20-25 pages) of your manuscript.
Nonfiction/Memoir: Submit 3 sample chapters or 20-25 pages that best represent your voice and style.
Poetry: Submit 5-10 poems (in a single document).
